When I joined Color By Amber one year ago, I never dreamed that I would share a product that not only looks good and feels good but does good too!!  Color by Amber creates an eco-friendly, socially responsible jewelry from 40% recycled eco-resin in a zero landfill, carbon neutral process.  The science teacher in me loves the story!  And when I toured 3Form, our parent company, this summer I learned first hand that the founder truly values the environment and looks for every opportunity to be more sustainable.  A commendable goal in our global world!

Even more I loved the story of how CBA gives 10% of its net profits to the Full Circle program which helps women artisans grow and develop their businesses around the world.  Hearing the stories of how CBA not only pays fair market value for the artisans work but invests in the women, their families and their communities is heartwarming!  This is truly a company that gives back to others.

In a world that seems so focused on getting ahead, it’s refreshing and exciting be associated with a company that values it’s stylists and encourages and empowers them to grow as leaders both in business and in life!!

In that last year, I’ve invested more in my own professional and personal development than every before.  I’ve reached out to and met some amazingly talent people and achieved goals I’d only dreamed of.  I’ve earned a trip to Miami and attended a leadership retreat in Vancouver. I’ve recently earned a trip to Cancun for myself and my husband and today I met another personal goal and earned a trip to Chiapas!!  I’m so excited to get to meet the women who weave the CBA interlayers.  I get to go places I never dreamed I would!!  Surrounded by one of the most empowering groups of women, I’ve been able to challenge myself to grow.  I’m amazed and inspired daily by my cross Canada team and can’t wait to learn from their experience.
