Memories of Chiapas

image

It’s hard to believe that one week has passed since I traveled to #Aldama, #chiapas, #mexico with 21 amazing #colorbyamber #stylists and our home office staff to meet our #fullcircle #artisans in person!  It was truly one of the most moving experiences of my life. To meet the talented women who weave our interlayers was humbling and exciting. The time, effort and skill they invest in #weaving the #fabric #interlayers is truly amazing. I gained an even greater appreciation when they tried to teach us how to #backloom #weave. We were thankful for our guides ability to translate and the patience of the artisans as the helped us learn how to weave on a traditional back loom. Feeling #blessed to have had the #opportunity to learn and thankful to be on this #ColorbyAmber journey with so many amazing people!   Tonight’s #Thursday #style or #throwbackthursday (all the way to last week;) features a top woven by artisans in the Chiapas region:)  What story does your jewelry tell?
